Mr Laundromat is open under Covid-19 lockdown. For your protection, we have increased our cleaning schedule, but we do encourage you to bring your own gloves for handling equipment. We also recommend you bring sanitiser, disinfectant or cleaner to wipe handles before use.
COVID-19 HATE HEAT
Drying any clothes or linen will prevent the spread of the disease. Our highest dryer temperature (87°C) is high enough to kill the virus on a normal 25 minute cycle.
**This temperature cannot be achieved on your home dryer.**
2-METRE PHYSICAL DISTANCE
While doing laundry it is important each person spends the least amount of time in the laundromat building as possible. Following these procedures will help all of New Zealand lessen the risk of spreading Covid-19.
Therefore we ask the following of you please:
1. A 2 metre physical distance between all persons must be maintained at all times – this is for your safety
2. Do not enter site if you are unwell with any one of these symptoms, runny nose, cough, fever or sore throat
3. Only one person per household to enter site to do laundry (please no other family members to lessen the risk of any cross contamination)
4. Load laundry into machines and wait in car (not on site) until cycle finishes
